Earth Plaster Courses in Germany. Very high quality earth render and plaster courses are organised by FAL e.v. in Gemany every year. The courses are taught by Irmela Fromme and Burkard Rueger who both have been using earth as a plastering material for years and have a impressive number of realisations under their belts. The courses are run in English and German. The courses have theory and practical part and also focus very much on how to teach the earth plastering mathods to others. The course comes with a cd and a file of teaching materials and data sheets in most major European Languages but also in Slovak, Bulgarian etc. It is possible to receive funding from Grundtvig Lifelong Learning program that will cover your course fees, accomodation and food and also travel expenses. For information on application program you need to apply to your National Agency that you can find on this list http://ec.europa.eu/education/lifelong-learning-programme/doc1208_en.htm. The deadlines for applications (for funding) are coming up quarterly and vary slightly in each country, if you are looking at going on a course sometime in summer 2011 your application deadline will be most likely sometime in january or february. You can apply for a grant to participate in these training courses at your Grundtvig National Agency. If you are interested in participating in our 2011 European courses and you want to ask for a Grundtvig mobility grant, the deadline for submitting your grant application is January 14th 2011 !
