Greetings to all, As some of you will know this web stie has been around in its embryonic state for a while. We need to launch the website officially and move on from here. Here are some things that we think need doing and you could be helpfull with: - we need to to get our memebership base up. We need to make sure that all the interested people in european sb world know about this site. We will spread the invitation through the eu sb email list but we will also need you to spread the information throughout your networks and link your websites to ours (that goes especially for national networkers!) - we need to get content on this site!!! so register yourself and publish any interesting articles and start discussions about the issues you're passionate about! make sure that events that you organise that are of European importance get published in our events calendar! - we would like to have also more information relevant to sb builders and lovers - we would like a new section on funding, create content for the section about international sbb organisations and elaborate the section on history of european conferences. feel like doing some writing? let us know. we will tell you about the ideas we had and listen to ideas that you bring. you can also come up with whole new ideas for content. you can just write a page or two or become part of the team and keep co-creating this web. - we would like to make this web multilingual eventually, it would be great if someone was willing to look into how to make this happen and take lead on this. - to make this web site a truly rewarding place to publsih things we need a greater audiences that dont only consist of the old sb gang but reach further into the field of proffesional builders, self builders, journalists, education workers, local goverment members, eco activists and much much more, we will need to advertise ourselves in the varied media across the Europe, this is a job in itself and potentially a great rewarding experience. anyone feeling courageous? - we need editors that check and polish out contents for language and lay out and keep attracting attention to the web by publishing things themselves, urging people fromr our networks to publish, keep an eye on events worth adding to events section and are willing to develop the general ide of the web further. you can take on as little or as much of these tasks on as you like. the more there is of us the more work we can do. - we need feedback, we need to know what you like and what you don't and what does and what doesn't work for you. we need to know what kind of tools you need to make your work easier as a sb builder and networker. we need to know what you think this web should look like in the future and your opinions on how to organise better across Europe to make it all happen. Don't just write us an email, open a discussion in the formum section so everybody can see it and contribute, we keep and eye on these and will contribute ourselves as much as we can. - any other ideas? please get in touch! love to all yours norak |
